“How do companies get people excited about their products?”
TL;DR
My design process is guided by my background in copywriting, branding, and communications consulting. For me, it’s all about understanding people and getting them excited about a product by providing an exceptional user experience.
In my previous roles, I explored what makes people excited about products. As a copywriter, I used my skills to sell, but I realized writing alone couldn’t spark real excitement. So, I pursued a Master’s degree focused on branding and consumer insights and, as a communications consultant, worked on various marketing and communications projects across different industries.
I realized: everything comes down to experiences. Great customer experiences not only drive loyalty but also make products easier to sell. Similarly, great employee experiences attract and retain talent. I no longer wanted to just talk about these experiences – I wanted to help create them. So, I transitioned to UX design, where I now focus on helping companies craft products that people genuinely enjoy using.

Empathize
Honestly – I love asking questions. And I love listening to people talk about their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This makes understanding user needs enjoyable for me, and I believe that work should be fun.

Collaborate
I believe that the fastest way to get meaningful results is by collaborating. In my previous jobs, I have worked in cross-functional teams and enjoyed learning from my co-workers and getting to chip in with my expertise.

Think first
If you need someone to quick-fire a gazillion suggestions with minimal information, I’m probably not the person you’re looking for. I prefer thinking possible solutions through first. I can make assumptions but I’d rather work with facts.
I live with my cats in my own little urban jungle in Berlin, but also...
✨
I have lived in England, Finland, and Sweden before. I’m currently still learning Swedish, though I did give up on my Finnish after a year of trying, haha.
✨
I dream of living in the countryside again one day. As someone who grew up in a tiny village, the hustle and bustle of Berlin can get a bit much at times.
✨
I love trying out new haircuts. I’ve done it all, from buzzcut and pixie to mullet and wolf cut. But the lavender is here to stay.
✨
When I’m not busy cooking delicious food, sending lengthy voice notes to my friends or cuddling my cats, you can find me at the poledancing studio (2025 goal: finally managing that invert 🙏).
A random collection of happy memories :)
